It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the needs surrounding us every day. But together, we can make a difference! At Cross Community Church, we believe God has called each of us to serve. That’s why we’re committed to making a difference in our city, county and surrounding areas. Not to mention all the fun we’re having while we do it … in fact, that’s what Servant Outreach Saturdays, are all about.
“If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight.” – Isaiah 58:10
“Serving” Giving of your time to serve others. Giving of your God-given giftedness to serve others. Giving back of your God-given resources, what we call “Giving yourself Away.” The pursuit of full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.
“Invest and Invite” to the weekend service or other groups within CCC. Invest in people’s lives and invite them to come.
“Friendship First Groups” as people attend, we make it easy for them to find pathways to get connected into our Friendship First Groups, here at CCC. Life change happens best in group life, where there is accountability, belonging, and care.
“Give yourself Away” once you call CCC your home, it is time to get off the bench and join the team. As we attempt to follow God to the best of our abilities, identify how God has wired you and then become a volunteer and/or leader and use your God-given giftedness, resources, and time to others. As we give to others, we actually are the ones receiving.
